About the Author
Joe Guy is a syndicated newspaper columnist, the author of several books on law enforcement and regional history, a storyteller, and conference speaker. Since 2010, he has served as sheriff in McMinn County, Tennessee, where he is also the county historian. He resides on a small farm located near Englewood with his wife and sons.
